Apparently, Psy is in the U.S. right now:

This video proves that you need a fat guy to do the dance justice:

this gives me faith in humanity. it's truly a blessing to see that people who don't understand a single word of the Korean language can still enjoy that completely foreign culture through the art of music.

This comment made me chuckle. Apart from the obvious hyperbole, I'd love to know just what the completely foreign culture is that maybe a couple of dozen people in that stadium seemed to be enjoying. It all looked pretty watered down American to me.

This is just another "hide yo kids hide yo wife" web sensation. It'll be all over in 2 more weeks.

Funny video, catchy song, new dance people are relating to in many countries.

Haters gotta hate but this is putting kpop on the world map. Youtube is going nuts over it & its certainly not just Koreans.

Kudos to PSY, the unlikely ambassador of Korean popular culture but he's been at his game for 10 years now & seems like a likable guy.

Korean wave & curiosity about it just got a lot more widespread this month.

LOL, just stop. Americans and the west can care less about Korea. Korea is no bigger now than it ever was in the past and in no way is this weird song going to make the country burst forth into the limelight and onto the world stage as you are implying. what are you smoking?

Tobacco.

You present yourself on these forums as cranky about just about anything Korean, OK, thats your prerogative.

On the other hand, the world these days seems to be on a hunt for the next new exotic surprise. Who knows? I dont. Just surmising.

This song and video has made it far beyond the borders of Korea. Good for PSY as it is a funny and enteraining video and song. The number of hits and views on youtube is pretty impressive and they come from a lot of places outside of Korea.

Christ your English is horrid, and you edited it, too.

That said, one of the best K-Pop songs I've ever heard. Then again, that's like talking about one of the best food poisonings I've ever had.
