Recently, while looking for teaching positions in Korea, I've submitted my resume and photo to several agencies. To keep my resume a reasonable length, I omitted some positions. One of those I omitted was my most recent position at a public school. Since I had been forced to resign this position (after working there 1.5 months, for BS "medical reasons"), could I get in trouble later for omitting this?

No.

Most people leave irrelevant experience off their resume when applying to jobs. Just be prepared to explain any discrepancy in the interview if anyone bothers to read your resume closely.

(though what you should do is use years only when listing experience - for example, ABC Academy 2001-2003 - to help cover up positions that were held for a couple of months)

For me, when reading a resume, a couple of months gap would not be a red flag necessarily if the rest of the resume was sound. The biggest clue that something is not right in a consistent chain of one year contracts (at least in the university field).

they can always pull your record from immigration, if the job you are referring to was one in Korea.

I did that with my last hagwon, because that boss pulled the 11th month firing scam. Current hagwon asked immigration for my record. I still got my current job, but it's turning out to be as shady as my last one.

Gotta love Korea!
