@Captain..of course he was a wacko. Theres no excusing that. Chasing, walking or running after someone trying to scold them isnt the brightest thing to do if in fact they werent even getting off then.
Point is they are partially to blame. Call the cops if you wanna be a hero.
They caused others to be slashed because of their idiocy plain and simple
Mind your business and contact the correct authorities instead of a tough guy

Truth be told, you don't know what they did. We know what HE did, but not really what they did. You've said they chased him - any proof1][b]

Haha still trying to pick through my words again. Funny

I dont need proof if they were running jogging walking hopscotching or wearing superhero spandex like your avatar..point is it doesnt matter. They shouldnt have confronted him at all and cause others to be hurt by their idiocy

You said they chased after him.

Chased.

That's your word.

If you can't stand by what you've typed, so be it.

Very logical and well put. I cannot fault your analysis. Oddly enough however, when faced with an actual live knife attack, I wonder how much of this cool headed analysis would hold.

All I am saying is that unless you have actually stopped a knife assault, you have no idea how you would react. Going in might stop the attack or land you with injuries (possibly severe).

That's true. We never know how'll we'll react unless we've been there. I like to think that I would attack a psycho or at the very least get his attention before running for my life while screaming like a little girl.

Inexcusable actions. There is no amount of verbal abuse (if such a thing even happened) that justifies stabbing multiple people (at least 4 of which did nothing more than just be at the bottom of an escalator).

Hell, even if there was some way of arguing that the man's reaction is even 1% understandable, what the hell are people doing walking around with knives and box cutters anyway?

Or am I the weird one who mistakenly assumes every time I go out that I will not be needing to stab anything tonight?

Like I said, that isnt the point and makes no difference. Ok Ill cover my bases for you since you like being so picky. Makes no difference running, walking or cartwheeling, they directly casued others to be harmed with their idiocy. The word idiocy will NOT be changed

Ok, so we've established that you made up the part about chasing him.

Now you're going to stick to the point about their 'idiocy', eh?

What was idiotic about their action? Commenting about someone spitting on a train? Commenting about someone spitting at them? Suggest calling the authorities? Getting off of the train?

Because none of those things don't stand out as idiotic to me. In fact, I've probably done all of them - especially the one about getting off of a train.

So do tell, what do you KNOW they did, and how was it idiotic? And be sure not to make things up this time - no need.

It sounds like someone has an agenda. Let me guess, someone is a lawyer and wants to sue over this?

By all means, read the OP.

Because so far the only IDIOCY I'm seeing is in your replies to this thread.

Sounds like a bloodbath!

But it's a lot more manly to settle it with a box-cutter. Heck in the USA there would be 23 people dead from bullets that splattered brains all over the subway platform.

If a crazy attacks me, I want it to be in Korea.

And your "oh so original play on superpowers" is?

Honestly though, you lied about the chasing bit. And that's clear in this thread.

Read the OP again, and any article on the incident, and show me where it says they were chasing this guy down.

As to the comments, the articles said they 'reprimanded' him...some say for spitting on the floor of the subways, others for spitting at someone. It's you who's adding in the parts about them swearing at him.

So again, anything to back up your claims, or do you simply enjoy lying to try to prove a point?
