Hey! New here!
So I am about to apply with several recruiters and I was wondering how that impacts the FBI background check. I noticed on the background check form you can order additional copies for $18 each- do I need to order a copy for each one of my recruiters then? |

Not a bad idea to get extras, but I personally wouldn't do it for recruiters at one time. I would choose one recruiter and if there are problems have another on standby for another recruiter.
There used to be a 6 month time limit, so if that still exists then there is no need to hold on to them. Get 2, maybe 3 at most, but that just my preference.
The only kind of reason I would see giving two CBCs out at the same time is if you have 2 really good offers. However, you have to send your passport to get the visa, so you'll have to pick one eventually. |

When you are applying for jobs you SCAN (low resolution) your documents (cbc, degree, apostilles) and send those as part of your application package.
When and ONLY WHEN you have signed on the dotted line and need to submit documents to immigration do you send the hard-copy originals.
It wouldn't hurt to have a spare set when you come to Korea (belt and suspenders kind of thing).
Your CBC does have a shelf life of 6 months from date of issue (less than 6 months old when they land on the desk at immigration). 6 months + 1 day and immigration will refuse them. |

I just sent off for my CBC. For anyone who has recently sent off for theirs, how long is it currently taking for the CBC to get back to you from the day you mail it? |

So what you guys are saying is that I only need two copies I won't need to use them until I want to actually sign for a job? This is regardless of the number of recruiters I use? |

correct.
All the recruiters get when you apply for jobs are scans of your documents.
You only send off the hard copies when you have a signed contract and have begun the visa application process (visa confirmation number application) with immigration in Korea.
