Was at Han River yesterday and was watching a musical performance (two Koreans, guitar and sax, flute, etc.)

Some old guy got up to dance near the front. Singer stopped and said into the mic, that if he wants to dance, please do it at the back, cause it's distracting people and that the front area is considered the stage. Old guy started yelling, people in the audience started yelling, then the guy just left.

I don't see why they care if some guy is dancing. Just a terrible story I wanted to tell Daves this Monday

Ha! I'm reminded of the time at a Fiona Apple concert at my university some people were talking a bit (it was a freshman week party!) and she stood up from the piano and told us all to "shut the **** up". Apparently she'd just made it big and was only doing the gig out of contractual obligation. Some showmanship.

That's like going to the cinema and talking on your cell phone during the movie. Get some manners and show some respect.

We're not talking an intimate little concert in a private venue here. It was a party, in a large lounge with plenty of booze during the first week of university. She was hooked into a PA system! It's not like anyone was so loud that you couldn't hear her perfectly fine.

I call B.S...there is no way a university is serving booze to 18 year old freshman.
