We have a week off- (Sept 29-Oct 6) can anyone make some suggestions? Thailand is running about a thousand for a round trip flight, and I've heard that many places in Korea will be difficult to travel to.
Beachy or not, cultural or serene... I don't have a preference. I do. however require it to be fairly cheap, and don't want to head to a rainy season.

That's Chuseok, right. Apparently half of Korea travels on those days. If you can take a train to a quieter seaside resort (the buses will get really stuck in traffic). Flights are difficult to come by and very expensive.
We really should set up some exchange board here for swapping places in Korea (or couchsharing) as I think many teachers will be in the same boat. |
