I taught Speech and Debate last year in Gangnam from May to August and really enjoyed my time in Korea. I am now going through various recruiters to find a job for me.
I am looking for suggestions on different cities to consider living in. I know Seoul and Busan are the top cities most people ask for. I'm familiar with Seoul, which is a plus, but at the same time I wouldn't mind living in a smaller city or on the outskirts on Gyeongi-do.
I enjoy outdoor activity, I walked up and down Seoul while in Korea, but would prefer this time to be doing it in a mountain or near the coast. I don't know too much about any of the other metropolitan cities that I didn't mention. Thanks for your opinions! Cheers |

I'm trying a different tac and am going to tell you don't come to Yeuju, GyungGiDo. We have zip outdoor 'cept for paragliding and bike riding along the banks of Han river. Furthest possible from any coast and the nearest wilderness is ChiAkSan in the next door city of Wonju. all we have is rice, peanuts and porceline, and the tomb of Great King Sejong. |
