Hello. Am looking for a good VPN site to watch UK TV. I used to use free sites, like UKNOVA, but they have since closed down. So am now willing to pay. Any good recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

I pay a few per month (recurring quarterly billing via Paypal) for VPN from consult-here.com. Gives you 3 UK servers and one in the US and works on PC, phone, tablet etc. Had it for a couple of years, always been reliable.
Tried Expat Shield, it works but it plants an icon in the system tray and was always popping up asking to scan the system, felt too much like spyware. Distrust.
Bear in mind that the speed of any connection to the UK is really governed by your Korean ISP rather than the VPN provider. Do a speed test to a server in the UK from your regular internet connection and that's roughly the best you can expect from any VPN service, paid or otherwise. Its usually pretty weak, I switched from SK to KT and it improved a little but not much. |
