Before you make too extensive a shopping list, you might want to look around your apartment and see what's already there. Your boss might provide you with a lot of essentials, and previous teachers may have left behind useful stuff as well.
Most hogwons provide their foreign teachers with at least some basic kitchenware and a TV. |

It's a shopping list? Who buys all that stuff at one go? I just go to separate stores each day when I move into a new area, walk up and down the aisles to see what they have and then buy what is available that I could use.
