Anyone have any idea if temples are usually open for Chuseok? We're planning a trip to Maison provincial park and a hike up to Tap-sa. Then the next day heading over to Songgwang-sa. The schedule would be Tap-sa on Sunday and Songgwang-sa on Monday.
Just a general answer to whether or not temples are usually open for Chuseok or specifically if those two places will be open.
Thanks. |

| I've always seen the temples and palaces in Seoul open during Chuseok. They are also crowded with families that have realized driving across the country in jammed traffic isn't a "vacation." |
