|
|
I have a visa for working at a hagwon. The visa I received is for only working at that hagwon.
I have some free time during the week so I would like to find part-time work in the mornings. I sent my resume to some recruiters and they requested a copy of my diploma. Will they verify my diploma with Immigration or the MOE? If they do, will there be some conflict since I received a visa for only teaching at my present place of work? |

Unless you have permission from your school/hagwon AND immigration you can not work part time.
Your school might not mind. But they might.
Recruiter will likely not notify immigration or MOE. They might ask for a copy of your diploma to make sure maybe with MOE that you can legally teach.
Check out the Hikorea Website and adding an extra place of work to your visa. |

Once again you need permission from both your current employer AND immigration. Did you read your contract? I bet your contract says something about working other jobs.
You can work at another job You are just limited to other English academies or schools. Sorry you can not teach privately. Some recruiters may show you jobs that are outside the legal norm for you. |
