Knocked a small finger-sized sample bottle of lotion from Face Shop or wherever into the toilet. Now the toilet water flushes down slowly. What to do? Does Korean Drano melt plastic?

Uh let's see drano comes in a plastic bottle so do you think that will melt it from the outside?

Call maintenance, a plumber or reach in with a coat hangar and try to fish it out yourself.

The plunger has had no effect.

Never had to look for Drano, let alone Korean Drano, so not sure what packaging it comes in. Also, not all plastics are the same.

I may have to call a professional.

Call a plumber. It shouldn't cost any more than 60k. He'll use a "snake" to get it out. I once had to call a plumber to help dislodge a snapped-off toilet brush from our toilet. I think it cost around that, if not a bit less.

It's a plastic bag. It's probably gone to far in.

LOL...seems like someone intentionally tried to flush a small finger-sized sample bottle of lotion down the toilet.
And now is facing the consequences of that...too funny.

Plastic floats...how did it get flushed unless you did it intentionally?

Plunge harder...or get the long cable wire made for that.
Go to Emart...or wherever ..and ask for a Spring ChungSoGi...it contains a long steel wire that you use to 'snake' the drain.

Best of luck. Wink

Reminds me of the party house back home. Toilet gets mysteriously clogged. After repeated plungings and whatehaveyou we all give in and call the plumbers. When they show up one roomie suddenly has to "run to work". Plumbers snake it, and right in front of all of us, plus guests, pull out a jar of vaseline that belonged to the dude. At which point we check underneath the sink and find the Penthouse mags and everyone has a good laugh.
