Assuming that you are living in Busan or Incheon, does having 2+ years of teaching experience at a hagwon, a Bachelors degree in any discipline and a tefl cert put one into the 1 category which equals 2.3mil/mth?
Not sure if hagwon teaching counts towards teaching experience as far as EPIK is concerned.

| Hagwons might not count as full time years. You'll more likely get 2.0 or 2.1 to start. This is for Incheon, at least. |

They do. I get all those things at my hagwon, but work shorter hours and have a higher salary. |

| the pay scale for EPIK (unless things changed) is based on EPIK or PS experience. So I am not sure 2 years at a Hakwon will bump you up the scale, especially if that job or jobs is not referenced. |

Hakwon experiences do count and will bump you up the scale. |

I believe thats always been so. Worked for me years ago & has for many others since. You just need to show officially acceptable certificates of employment. |
