| It used to be F2, but now it's F6, the difference being the F6 is a specific designation for marriage as the F2 started to encompass a broader spectrum of residents thanks to the points system and other methods of getting the visa. Administratively, I haven't experienced a difference (having been on an F2 for 2 years and recently switched to the F6). |
