I worked for a Hogwan and finished my contract back in February this year. I was having some problems with the pay because the school had owed me my last month's pay and severance. At the last second, they ended up paying me my last month's pay but I never did get the severance. I then ended up leaving Korea.

I'm thinking about returning to Korea around January 2013. My question is, would I be able to file a claim against my last school for the severance they never paid me? Or would it be too late?

Not late. You have 3 years to file labor complaint from the date the money was due. Just have your documents in order to file.
