Nice photos but don't whatever you do show this kind if thing to Korean adults in a class. I did this once to elicit 'used to' etc.. And you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. They don't like being reminded. |

Things were like this up until mid 1970's. Then President Park started the 'New Village' campaign. First thing they did was to widen the roads so that the tracktors can come in. Before that going any where on rice fields was walking a tight rope on muddy embankments less than a foot wide. Note that hardly anyone wore protective footwear working in the fields, and fertilizers were organic. Stomach parasite problems were rampant. Took quite an effort to eradicate that problem. |

Yeah, I found that out too. It's like when I thought gay marriage would be a controversial topic that would get them talking... nope.
These pictures are stellar though. |
