| This is my first Chuseok in Korea, are banks and the post office going to be closed this coming Monday? Thank you |

| Many shopping/entertainment places will be open, but banks, post office, things like that will be closed. |

Yes, they will be closed and it wouldn't be the first time that individual banks have shut down their systems for an upgrade as well - making ATM withdraws impossible.
ATMs also have a habit of running out of cash over the holiday.
Have a supply of cash available to see you through the holiday break. |

| AFAIK, Tuesday is a normal banking day. But as others have said, it's a good idea to have a little cash on hand over holiday weekends just in case. |
