|
|
We're looking for a bar in the Seoul area to show this. So far the verdict is that there has to be "enough interest", and we know, like, 5 people who will "probably" show up. It's Oct. 7 here, early afternoonish.
Yes it's a Sunday, but it could be so much better than puking all day, wishing it was Friday, or ignoring the ogre that you "accidentally" took home on Saturday night.
Come on, people! Post here or PM. |

It's going to be funny to watch Bill rip into that ignorant, liberal joker. I bet he'll walk out before its finished, heh.
Also, it should be easy to download after its broadcast. |

Good Lord pay the $4.95 to watch it in comfort of your living room. since its not going to be broadcast on comedy central etc there wont be any live streams. Your booze, nicotine habits can handle 1 or 2 less beers or packs of smokes
Some people can be so friggin cheap |

When either of them visit each others respective programs Stewart always shows a level of decorum and respect to the other but it is never vice versa. Also, on many of cases the facts on the Factor program have been disputed while even FOX has never disputed the facts explained from the Daily Show. Also, you state the he is a Liberal Joker. Really? Did you watch the episode where he had on first responders of 9/11 and the issues/problems that they were facing medically because of the blockage by Republicans in Congress? Was the Factor out fighting for those first responders during their ordeal? Or was it that Liberal Joker?
Whoops. Sorry. I did something that you may not like. I introduced FACTS.
One argues their point with facts and a level of civility while the other yells and speaks down to someone that they disagree with and either fudge or misleads their listening audience.
Enjoy the debate! I know I will! |

We're willing to pay the $4.95 for the bar to show it. That's not the issue. The issue is I don't own a TV, and it would actually be FUN to watch it in a bar with other people. |

The bar would likely have to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to show it, legally. Places that, legally, show Premiership footy games pay $1000s for each game. |

Liberals are all the same. When they're winning, it's a non-stop propaganda parade and when they're losing, they start claiming that "we have the facts and you don't" (facts from where? Wikileaks?)
Anyway, America has spoken which is why Fox News is the leading news source and within that network, Bill O'Reilly comes out on top. I admit that Bill is not right 100% of the time but then again, who is? He is definitely right more than he is wrong which is more than I can say for Steward and his kin.
I think the fact that you don't like him is because you know he's right and the guy on The Comedy Network who makes funny noises inbetween regurgitating old liberal rhetoric is wrong.
But yes, this debate will be fun. |

If "America has spoken", and FOX is number 1, then I'm sure the candidate/party they support will win, right? |

Nope. I agree with Romney's social politics but he's just way too corrupt. Even a lot of Republican voters are going to vote for Obama this year. |

Heavymetalpancakes is trolling, everyone, don't even bother.
That said, objectively, Bill O'Reily is a scumbag, no matter if you're liberal or conservative, everyone with a brain not made of play-doh knows this. |

I'm not trolling. I'll give it to you that he isn't the most pleasant person to argue with (if that's what you mean by 'scum bag') but a lot of liberals that go up against him end up walking away with their tail behind their legs. Stewart is going to get schooled. |

Having seen both Stewart and O'Reilly on each others shows, I've always thought O'Reilly showed a lot more constraint (maybe even a little respect) towards Stewart. Usually he just shouts over and interrupts those he disagrees with until their time is up.

I find this interesting as I recently watched a documentary about how Fox news started off as a legitimate news channel and turned into what it is today. There was an interview with a journalist who had been covering politics for years who said they always recognized the conservative contributors the shows brought on, but never recognized any of the liberals they brought in to offer the other side. |

So what's the deal? Any idea if it's going to be shown in any bar? |
