Don't you guys have any mates you can borrow money off?

Yea, but would rather not unless I absolutely had to. Pride thing, I guess.

Knew one expat who would fairly regularly run out of money about 4-5 days before payday. He'd hit people up for 20K, 30K and buy ramyeon, cigarettes, and soju. I guess you gotta have the essentials.

.....and so there I was,.....I'd spilled the very last of the only open jar of beluga on the Bugatti. I went into the smoking room to have a little nip to calm myself, and it was at that very moment that I realized that the serfs had gone down to the village to retrieve the oysters that I was having flown in from Apalachicola and hence there was no one to open another bottle of Henri IV Dudognon Heritage. Whatever was I to do?

Lost my job after a few months and got a position with a company that didn't provide key money or housing allowance. I had to make an agreement with the landlord to pay back 3 million in key money in 3 months

2.3 million paycheck
-600,000 rent
-1,000,000 key money savings
-200,000 for phone, utilities, T-money

500,000 for everything for the whole month.

Needless to say, those were a pretty shabby 3 months.
