| I stopped by Costco last night and they have Christmas items out for sale. That includes toys, chocolate, and candy canes. You can get a tub of 280 small candy canes for about 12,000 won. I did not see any pumpkin pies. |

| I heard because of the drought that pumpkins will be in very short supply this holiday season. |

It's very early to be thinking about Christmas, but last year when I put up my Christmas tree and wanted to buy some new lights and decorations they were almost all sold out, so now's the time to buy.
Also, with all the fuss about energy use they might not be expecting to sell much in the way of Christmas ornaments and so might begin with only a small stock of goods.
I like the Costco Christmas cookies-- the ones in the Christmas-themed tins-- for good gifts for co-workers, security guards, and the like. |
