Just get a better apartment. I leave my windows open with the screens closed all the time and have yet to see or hear a single mosquito.

I have a new apartment (built 3 years ago) and mosquitoes have never been too big of an issue. However, after returning the week long Chuesok break, I had dozens of mosquito larvae swimming in my toilet. I've never seen that before and still have no idea how they got in.
