Does anyone know if the galaxy note 2 is LTE internationally compatible? Will I be able to use the LTE in North America or AT LEAST 3g?

Thanks in advance,
Frank

Korean phones use GSM for cellular (3G) and 1 (2100 MHz) 3 (1800 MHz) 5 (850 MHz) bands for LTE.

Unfortunately in the U.S. it's a mix match. While AT+T's cellular network is compatible, its LTE frequencies are not. This applies to all Canadian carriers as well.

Similarly, both Verizon and Sprint offer compatible LTE frequencies, but operate on CDMA for cellular.

So in answer to your question, "Does anyone know if the galaxy note 2 is LTE internationally compatible?"

There really is no such thing because there is not one standard frequency that is used internationally for LTE

Why don't you just get the Note in the US/Canada? They're cheaper there I'm sure. I got my Korean one today and it was 1.1 million. First thing the guy does is download loads of KorCrap...I kept trying to stop him but he kept going...T Store and all that jazz. Kor Bloatware. Cost me almost 15 megs of data for it too.

No big deal, but Samsung Apps wants your ARC number, then doesn't accept it. Same old story there with waygook ARC numbers on just about any Korean system I've tried except E Mart Point Card. lol.

Other than that, phone is great. All of the Google stuff works awesomely.
