I ended up going with Cigna. They had some reasonable options. I now have coverage in every country in the world except for the USA (though I can get coverage there if I want at a later date.) I figured I'd go with a global insurance, rather than Samsung, because I get English speakers and it's not just for in Korea. I won't need traveler's insurance if I go anywhere (except for the US, of course,) which is another plus.

I won't get into pricing or anything here (though I've sent you a PM,) but Cigna is a global company, and I spoke to someone in Glasgow. I went with them because it's international expat coverage. I also wanted a company that speaks English, so that I don't have to rely on friends to translate when it comes to important matters. I'm covered in every country in the world except for the US, so now, if I go on a vacation, I don't need traveler's insurance (except if I travel to the states.)

I went with the core plan, and opted out of the extra dental and outpatient stuff, because outpatient is relatively cheap with national insurance here. I'm also covered for in and out patient care for cancer, as well as maternity care, though I'm hoping I never have to use them.

I answered a bunch of medical questions honestly, and they had me signed up within a couple of hours. I called this line to sign up:

(US country code 1) 877-539-6295
