...was flying from Kansai, Japan, via Inchon, Korea, to LAX on Friday.

In addition to the smoke grenade, officers found three leather-coated black-jack billy clubs, a collapsible baton, a full-face respirator, several knives and a hatchet.

Perhaps even more disturbing, officers also found body bags, a tyvex biohazard suit, various masks, duct tape, hand cuffs, leg irons, flex cuffs, oven mitts and cooking tongs.

I don't get why someone would want to smuggle those into the United States. It's not like those are impossible to find items or anything. Heck, I bet you can find half of them at Cabela's and the rest through some survivalist catalogue.

Apart from the smoke grenade, everything is allowed in check in luggage. If he knew the US better, he'd know he can obtain all these items from Amazon and have them delivered overnight.

But he probably was in a hurry for a S&M convention in Boston and couldnt have it shipped

It's obvious that he was on his way to defend the mainland from a Godzirra attack. Take your blinders off people.

Ahhhh yes...the 'dungeon behavior'. A must for any budding sociopath.

It's not the first time someone has gotten through Seoul like this.

I remember when it happened but was shocked to see that, when I looked it up, it happened in 1997. I can't believe it was that long ago - the older you get, the faster time goes by.

IIRC, the guy had a layover in Korea, so I think he actually landed and entered Korea with the grenade. He spent a night here, then got back on the flight to Vancouver, again getting the grenade past security. I forget where he originally boarded, but he got the grenade through there as well.

"Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Mills told the court that pornography of a disturbing nature was found on Harris' computer, some of it a type of Japanese anime depicting the torture of young children. Other pornography included live action video clips with titles such as 'School Girls in Cement.'

"Harris worked as an English teacher at a Japanese middle school and had regular access to children."

He does have an arrest record now so we don't have to worry about Korea being his next teaching destination.

That's a must have, though. The Carlito's Way of porn. But, I believe "cement" is spelled differently.

I think the most significant circumstance of this case has just been unearthed. Laughing

Quite remarkable considering the weapons and toon porn that's also been found.

Isn't 'School Girls in Cement' about the murder of Junko Furuta? It isn't a porn, but does have explicit scenes in the movie.
