Are visa documents good from the day they are processed, or the day they are stamped? Perhaps this only pertains to the CBC. I had my CBC processed May 21, but was only stamped by the consulate June 7.
My diploma was notarized June 7 as well, but stamped by the consulate June 18. Either way, I'm coming down to the wire aren't I.

Also, shouldn't I have something with a visas issuance number on it?

Thanks all...I appreciate any feedback.

CBC is the only item where the date is an issue: 6 months or less when it lands on the desk at immigration.

There is nothing sent to you when you get your visa issuance number; just the number usually by sms, txt msg or e-mail. It is just a number that the consulate inputs to access your file at immigration when you are applying for your visa. (in the old days, before computer files were common, you used to get a blue letter with your number on it).

The actual visa is a thing they put in your passport (takes up a full page).
