Hi all,
If I were to buy an Ipad from the states with 3G capability, would I be able to hook up to a Korean 3G service provider? Or would I need to buy it from a Korean apple store?
Should be alright buying it in the States; I say so, because I bought one in Canada, and have it hooked up to a 3g plan via the Korean mobile company Olleh. I can't remember the exact details of my plan - but if I recall, I'm paying around 20,000 won per month for a few gigabytes of data, and I think there was a set-up fee, to register the device in Korea, which was in the 35,000-50,000 won range.
