Can you be denied an E2 because of your work history?

There are a lot of topics here about people quitting, firing, and schools go bankrupt in Korea. I am curious if immigration can deny you from getting an E2 based on your work history, even if you have all of the required documents and have committed no illegal acts while here.

As long as you have no actual derogatory information on file (overstays, criminal record, outstanding debts to the national government {beats me how you manage to get those}), Immigration should approve your visa request if you have a sponsor.

CAN they deny your application = yes. They are NOT obligated to allow a visa nor are they obligated to permit your continued status of sojourn.

Are they likely to deny an application = No, UNLESS there is some derogatory matter/comment in your file (immigration, police or MOE/POE violation).
