Hi,

My friend is coming here... she'll be working a respectable job, but she's looking for some money on the side.

She speaks PERFECT English and went to university in America. I believe it is illegal to have two jobs here, but... she's willing to take the risk.

What are her options? Post something online (on an English speaking or Korean website?)? Post flyers somewhere? She is aware that Koreans prefer native speaking (read: white) tutors, so she's willing to lower her rates as needed. What are the going rates, anyway?

Thanks for any help.

this thread is so stupid.
1: She does not, I'm willing to put your life on, speak "PERFECT" English if she is not from a native English speaking country.
2: Don't promote or ask for advice on how to get your friend illegal work.

Aw... sorry I ruffled your feathers, Dodge. Hope you'll be okay.

Mods, feel free to delete, if you haven't already.

While I have no doubt that this thread will get deleted...perhaps soon, I hope that the mods will leave this one as an example for future posters to refer to.

Here we have a poster asking for ways, and asking for help, to effectively reduce the competitive wage for others who are working here legally.

How f'up is that?

Unbelievable. Crying or Very sad

What is really screwed up is that people who are excellent teachers and DO speak perfect English are not allowed to do so in Korea. Instead Korea hires people who are alcoholics, racists, psychopaths or have other mental instabilities as evidenced by the many threads here at this site.

So those idiots are allowed to teach so is it any wonder that more foreigners are hated each year? That's what ticks me off.

^ Yeah...and what about the price of imported organic vegetables?
People here are always going on about the cheap price of domestic food, but I mean....like whatever...good food here is expensive.
The vegetarians out there probably don't even care cause they are probably pot smoking freaks anyway, and the rest of the posters are probably alcoholics.

But hey...whatever...and damn did that have anything to do with the OP...well...anyway...whatever...right?

The second job Police are on their way right now. I'd advise flushing all of your English teaching notes and phone.
