Some things are just impossible to find here, sucks to pay a bundle to Amazon.com to ship, plus half the sellers on Amazon won't even ship here.

Just get a universal power strip.

It will accept US 2 prong, US 3 prong as well as several varieties of 2 or 3 prong round pin plugs.

They are readily available at home-plus, lotte-mart, e-mart, etc. They cost between 5000-10,000 won (depending on the number of outlets and the current rating (5-30 amps).

OR did you mean a strip with flat prongs on the plug side?

Yeah I think that would work. I'm going from KR outlet --> transformer from 220 to 110 --> then international powerstrip to plun in a bunch of my cool USA stuff.

I'll try those places, so far I always just see the regular KR strips...

Wait, I think I'd still be hosed...cause I need to plug this strip into a transformer that uses a USA 2-prong. These strips are all made for KR outlets.

Just go to gmarket.co.kr then search for "110v" and you'll find some.

Never thought someone so intelligent, worldly and has nothing but local friends would need to ask such a question on Dave's. Razz

They don't know where to get a USA power thingy.

Now for a hard one; I need ZIP100 discs for a vintage piece of gear. These are no longer produced as far as I know, can't find anywhere in KR, eBay has some but most of them won't ship here.

What, KR is too cool for ZIP100?
