Living in an apartment on the university campus you teach at:

Feels weird that if I wanted to have people over to my place I needed to have "permission" from the higher ups.
How do (should?) things work in this situation? I mean nothing was spelled out in the contract about this and I feel it's strange to ask if it is ok if people (adults) visit me. I was also told no females allowed. Pathetic rule but I didn't care because I used to sneak them in anyway.
I knew one guy that had his Korean girlfriend move in with him and of course his boss didn't like it but again nothing was in the contract that prohibited this...I think the boss did throw at him how the school's reputation would be damaged - something like that.

By the time I saved up enough money it would be time to leave anyway.
If I didn't know how to fool the system at that time it would have been a real pisser.

Have the balls to tell the boss that it's not acceptable or just accept it as it is. It's your choice.

Whether anything happened or not, people you snuck in now have reputation as 'used rag'. Jealous people play really dirty. You can cry foul, but that'll make things worse.
