Perhaps some pot might help you with that.

One thing I think Korea needs is tighter control over taxi drivers. Something should be done about them, because they are not doing what they are legally obliged to do. Once public transportation shuts down for the night, taxi drivers have the ball entirely in their court and they are free to refuse fares. Korea needs more taxi stands with a steward ensuring that taxi drivers don't get up to any funny business. If they can do it in Manila, then surely it can be done in Seoul.

You're a coward. You can't debate me on the issues so you try to attack the messenger.

This "stoner guy" has destroyed you in the past on this debate
Laughing and am perfectly willing to take you to school once again.

Look, man, you asked me to confess to a committing a crime, online, when I'm working in a job where parents are asked to trust me with their kids. You may find that okay to do, I guess you're a lot more carefree than I am. Good for you, well done etc.

And, just to allay inquiries - No, I have not.

Pfffft.

Are you seriously one of those blathering idiots who think someone who doesn't smoke pot's life is emptier than someone who does?

A braindead slob who smokes pot somehow has greater meaning in life than say, a non-stoner who spends her life working with hungry children or taking care of the elderly. Yeah, clearly pot is the key to what being a human being is all about. Rolling Eyes

I know plenty of people who have never touched drugs who lead far more meaningful lives than the average stoner. I also know some stoners who lead far more meaningful lives than people who have never smoked pot. What's clear is that pot is not the key one way or the other to having a meaningful life. That's why I neither discourage nor encourage its use and find people who strongly do so one way or the other to be utter morons.

I'm not trying to speak for Mr. Stamos but I honestly beleive you are missing out on a huge part of life if you've never experienced psychedelics.

I don't think I'm going too far here considering that many people who have taken the voyage (even if it was only once) have stated that the psychedelic experience was one of the most important and life altering moments in there life.

Quote:
Jobs experimented with psychedelics, later calling his LSD experiences "one of the two or three most important things [he had] done in [his] life"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs#cite_note-Markoff2005-4

Steve Jobs is not the only one who feels this way. I can show you a John Hopkins study from 5 years ago which supports this idea.

Now pot isn't at the same level as LSD , mescalin, ayauhsca or psylocybin, but it can be (if respected and used properly) and powerful and wonderful tool for exploring one's inner self.

Unfortunately we currently live in a climate where "inquisitors" like you Steels make it impossible to even explore this idea.

What's with the hyperbole?

Why are you trying to compare a "stoner" to Mother Teresa? Laughing

You're ridiculous - lol - it's hard to have a debate with or take you seriously when you go to these extremes to make a point.

I'll speak for myself and largely agree with what everything said.

Right. It's pretty clear which corner you're in, big guy.

Excuse me? You sound really level upstairs, so I'll stand by my earlier suggestion for now. I said, as someone whose life was enhanced by marijuana, after abstaining from it for many years, I don't believe in discounting the benefits it can often bring someone. Nor, do I agree with the condescending and juvenile labeling of a naturally growing plant in some sixteen year old, high school cliche manner. Who says "stoner" anymore?

I think you're talking to yourself.

Is it also clear that I drink water so that I will continue to live? Get real, man. Stop derailing this.

Fewer or no services, products, items etc. with English on them so as to encourage more people to study Korean seriously.

That would be just incredible for people here for the short term, or on vacation etc. Not everyone has the same enthusiasm for learning Hangul as you do, but let's make life more difficult for them anyway.

Okay tomato.

That's just silly. The benefits of expanded sales should easily eclipse the costs of additional printing in English.

Fewer newbs. Honestly there's nothing more annoying than talking to a Westerner whose just been here a few months. I want to tear my ears off and bury them in concrete. I guess I was just as annoying to long-timers when I first got here.

Just annoying. (You can even spot them a mile away on this forum.)

Some kind of medication to make anal people less anal. Like serious medication (not drugs). I think 80% of the people need prescriptions.
