Well i finally got a job offer a few days back, but i got my doubts about the position, because the contract is sketchy, the chain notorious, and i feel that they are already being a little dishonest with me.

So I'm gonna keep looking while I try to make up my mind. I'm actually back in Korea now, so i'm pounding the pavement, handing out resumes.

One thing that i think i may have been doing wrong (and this is mentioned in another thread elswhere) is telling them that i have a D10 visa. I thought this would be a real string to my bow, beucase it means i can go back to E2 very easily. But most recruiters and schools don't know what it is. And are therefore simply moving onto the next applicant.

I'm only looking for after school programs, not hagwons or public school. If you can't get a job, especially with the economy going up every day, then you're doing something wrong. Get a better photo where you look like less of a dingus, format your resume to a proper, non-high schooler style, and stop using "ledzepproxx88" as your Gmail name. It's not that hard getting a job. Getting the docs is by far the hardest part.

Most afterschool programs hire people on F visas exclusively. This was not the case in the past, but it is now. Due to recent law changes, the F visa has become more of an advantage than ever before. If you are married to a Korean woman and thus have the F visa, you will have job opportunities thrown at you left and right. The only question you will be asked is, "When can you start?". I know total freaks with the marriage visa getting more work (business English, etc.) than they know what to do with. My 교포 friends and Western friends married to Koreans refer to the F visa as the "god visa". So, Gorf (and other F visa-ers chiming in in the thread), just because is it easy for you to get a job, doesn't mean that it is the same for everyone.

F visa: easier to find work

Also the f visa = higher salaries
