The difference between this and bejeweled is about the same as the difference between Pocky and Peppero.

If I remember correctly - I think Anipang is 7x7, whereas Bejeweled is 8x8.

It's more difficult to keep combos going in Anipang, as you have less time to keep it going. Bejeweled is more lax and I can go 95% of games without ever being "slow" (where the fire crackle sounds die out) and get at least two blazing steeds during the game.

In Anipang, in most games, my combos get messed up and I have to start over again several times in one game. The controls also seem messed up (at least on the iPhone), but that's due to the tiny screen.

I suggest you set off the bombs when you are in the combo mode (when the stars flash around) and even then, only AFTER you have gotten a few combos in the combo mode. It will increase the number of points you will get from the bomb, as oppose to setting it off when you are not in combo mode, or once you enter combo mode. Believe me, doing it when you are not in combo move will only score you a few thousands, while doing it in combo mode after getting a few combos will definitely give you 10,000+ in points.

Try to get 4 or 5 matches in a row whenever you can. 4 means more points (than just 3) and 5 will turn the character into a dizzy one, which will erase all of the same characters off the board once you tap on it. There is also the specials you can get before each level. Test them out to see what suits you the most.

I tend to go for 3 in a row, and only 4 or 5 if they catch my eye. 3 in a row is much easier than getting 4 or 5, and even though it gives you less points, it will build up your combo mode much faster and viola! You enter combo mode and from there, let your finger(s) fly around the screen.

With my strategy, my highest score is somewhere in the 477,000's. I don't know how some people can get double, triple, etc score than that.. but I heard that there is a way to hack the game so each level lasts over 1 minute. I think that defeats the whole point of the game though.

The hacks don't work anymore, but the items make it possible. Top score on my list is close to a mil. With these new items, average scores seem to be around 600k.

Yeah Easy Combo + Extra Time is the way to go. You can easily get 30k+ per bomb.
