|
|
I'm trying to figure out what I can bring to Korea (first time)
Am I allowed to bring loose leaf tea (in a ziplock bag, for example?)
What about coffee beans/fresh ground coffee? I use a french press and want to bring some local coffee with me (can I bring it if it has been opened/pre-ground)
Food: can I bring bulk spices that are already open (not sealed, i.e. ziplock bag)?
The main point I'm concerned about is it the package is not sealed.
Thanks |

You won't get in trouble for it, no. You might be asked to open your suitcase in front of a Customs agent. It's no bid deal. It's not a if you're bringing BC bud, is it? |

Why don't you pack a big box with everything and have someone mail it to you as soon as you get to Korea? |

I read that takes several weeks...
So the worst that could happen is they ask to open my suitcase? That's no big deal then.
As long as it won't be taken away |

Mailing should only take a week. Probably best to check the customs website. |

Aye, it be Tea, Coffee, and Spices ye be haulin?
Keep a keen look out for privateers under foreign flag, or even dare I say, outright Pirates flying the Obsidian Flag of the Jolly Roger and looking to abscond with yon precious cargo.
Plot ye course wisely and beware treacherous waters. Avoid the Cove of Forlorn Hope at all costs. Make sure to bring at least 50 stout men.
With a good hand at the helm and fortune's breeze at your backs, thee should safely arrive at port with vessel and cargo intact, and a tidy profit to be had. Be sure to spend some time in drydock before sailing back with Silk, Porcelain, and Slaves. Riches O'Plenty. |

OP, what are you planning to bring? Post a list and maybe those items can be found in Korea and you won't have to ship them. That would save you time and money. |
