Who has got $48 000 to spare by next friday?
https://rt.com/news/apocalypse-china-survival-pods-004/
| Quote: |
As believers across the globe prepare for the forecast Mayan apocalypse, a Chinese villager says hes going to save humanity with his giant tsunami proof survival pods.
The pods are made using a fiberglass casing over a steel frame, cost $48,000 each to make and are equipped with oxygen tanks, food and water supplies. They also come with seat belts essential for surviving in storms.
The pod wont have any problems even if there are 1,000 meter high waves, its like a ping pong ball, its skin may be thin but it can withstand a lot of pressure, the balls creator Liu Qiyuan, told AFP from his workshop outside Beijing.
The pods are designed to carry 14 people at a time, but its possible for 30 people to survive inside for at least two months, insisted Liu
Indeed, their insulation is such that a person could live for four months in the pod at the north or south pole without freezing, Liu continued.
Liu explained that he was inspired into making the spheres after seeing the Hollywood disaster film 2012, which is itself inspired by the expiry of the Mayan calendar on the 21st December 2012. The Mayans were an ancient American civilization whose 5000 year old calendar shortly ends.
If there really is some kind of apocalypse then you could say Ive made a contribution to the survival of humanity, said Liu. |

It means my annual bonus is going to be [(12 + 21 + 2012) * 20]. |

How about this? I have been waiting for this date since 1969, and now ONLY 7 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius
The Age of Aquarius
Aquarius! Aquarius!
Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius! Aquarius!
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius
The Age of Aquarius
Aquarius! Aquarius!

| I have been counting down to this date since I was 10 years old. So, that makes 43 years. This next week is going to seem like another 43 years. |

| I hope the idiots who are actually thinking the world is going to end realizes that the Mayans didn't have a concept of leap year which was invented by Julius Caesar in 45 BC. So, going by the Mayans concept of time keeping and dates, Dec. 21st already happened 7 MONTHS AGO. |

What do mean we're already dead? I'm breathing. I'm alive until the good Lord calls me home. |

God help us!!!! I expect such comments on Yahoo News Stories, but NOT AT DAVES!!!!!!!!
All factors were taken into consideration when the experts converted the Mayan Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar. And it is 12/21/2012!!!!!!!! |

This happened a few hours ago in Pusan. I was on a bus and the windows were all fogged up. I wrote with my finger 12/21/2012. This Korean lady who looked about 90 was in the row across from me and she saw it and gave me a thumb up. Then she wrote on her window 11:11
So, I gave her a thumb up. |

Wrong! We are all part of a giant computer simulation. On 12/12 a cosmic portal will open and we will finally have the opportunity to escape this cosmic computer. That or fall to our death with the world watching:
