I want to buy an iPad here in Korea and I was wondering where the cheapest place to buy one would be

Is there a difference between the prices at Frisbee (Apple retailer) and the prices online or at the Duty Free shop?

Where should I buy a new iPad?

(I want to buy the newest generation - retina display, ect).

Thanks for the help! Laughing

No. Just buy it at Frisbee. It will be cheaper back home if you are from the USA, however. Something like around $70 more expensive here, I think. That differs on model and exchange rate.

Just get one at Frisbee or Concerige (sp?) in Itaewon.

I bought the newest Ipad Retina version for my wife last month, and we sold it quickly. It was just too heavy for her to use often. The mini would have been a better purchase for us, given the form-factor, but I'm not thrilled with the low specs on the Mini (or the I-pad2). Fine for now, but in a year, I assume Apple will add some much-needed OS upgrades that will make the original Mini grow old very, very quickly.

Just curious, is the iPad sold in Korea already set up in Korean or is it set up just like a U.S. version?

From what I can remember, you choose the language when you turn it on for the first time out of the box.
