Does anyone know if I will be able to deposit a United States postal money order in my Korean citi bank account? Has anyone done this before?

Yes, you can.
They will hold the funds for 7-30 days while it clears.
They will charge 10k-30k won for a handling charge.

International.... the other ones cannot be cashed outside the US and its territories.

So I looked into the International Postal Money orders more. You can deposit them. Citi Bank Korea charges .8% to cash them and the post office charges 4.55 for a 700 international money order. Just wanted to update this information. |
