A new bookstore just opened in Seoul...and they DELIVER...FOR FREE if you order more than 15,000 W worth!
You can order on line or by phone.
I have NO connection to this place (heard about it from a friend).
Here's their webpage...

This has already been mentioned in the off-topic forum, too...if people want to browse it, there's more info there.
I also have to mention:
www.yesasia.com
It has an awesome variety of books, just like amazon.com, but it delivers free to South Korea. Speedy service, good customer relations, books arrive in perfect condition!
If you're looking for a book, try both of these out. You'll find what you need, and neither of them jack up the prices of the books like the bookstores in Seoul do (Kyobo, etc).

| I tried to decide "General Discussion" or "Off-topic"! What's the difference??? Mods? Any guidelines? |

"WhatTheBook" isn't exactly new anymore, but I'm sure Chia appreciates your enthusiasm.
The General Discussion Forum is for topics directly related to living in Korea but which don't directly topics pertaining to teaching ESL in Korea.
The off-topic forum is for anything that doesn't fall into the other Forums' categories.
Your post is in the correct Forum. |

Just placed similar orders with both WhatTheBook and YesAsia.com. Will be interesting to see which order arrives first. |

yesasia operates out of hong kong i think. i ordered a book from them last week. it arrived within a week.
whatthebook may not be new but their free delivery/web site is.
i, for one, will be using whatthebook from now on. supporting local business, etc.

| I like the fact that you don't need a credit card to order from What the Book. All my Canadian credit cards are expired. |
