I would just like to know from people who have used this recruiter, whether it was a good decision? What are the pros and cons of using them?
Did you find an okay hagwon job? Please only reply if you HAVE actually used them, or have certain knowledge of someone who has.
Thank you for your time. |

If it's the one in Scotland, I recommend them. I've found jobs through them before (a few years ago). It's one of the few recruiting agencies that I actually have any respect for. It's also the only one that I know of which actually screens hogwons and refuses to place teachers at questionable schools. There's a Korean office as well as the main office in Scotland.
Mind you, they'll also screen the teachers. But if you're accepted, then they'll find you a good place to work. |

When I first came to Korea in 2007, I applied through them, and the woman who runs it, Amanda something, seemed really good and professional. I didn't end up taking a job through Flying Cows, because I was offered a job elsewhere. When I told her this, she said it was no problem, wished me well and said if I ever needed any help or wanted someone to look over my contract to give her a call - even though it wasn't for a company through her. |

I used Flying Cows when I first went to Korea in 2006. Amanda was really helpful and secured me a job in a very good Hagwon. I would definitely reccommend using them. |

Who cares? You should be using every recruiter you can find and peppering all the job boards with your CV. NEVER stick to one recruiter and, by doing so, limit your options. |

Wow interesting to hear of this recruiters professionalism. Yet PRagic is correct, who cares? Use any and all recruiters. In the end the best recruiter for yourself is yourself. |
