So I'm currently working at an after school job from 12:30PM to 5PM and I want to get a part time position to make some more money. My problem is that I don't know where to look. I could search on Craig's list or even this website but they don't have the part-time work that I'm looking for. My girlfriend is doing an after school job like me but also has a three hour morning position with Wall Street Institute. I want to find an evening position for a school like that but they don't advertise on Craig's list and the like.
Where can I find openings for a 3-4 hour part time evening position?
Or does anyone know a recruiter who could help me?
Any help would be appreciated. |

Firstly it depends on your visa status if you're F4 or F6 then you'll be fine. If you're E2 you need permission from your school. If you have it then you can legally work a second part time job.
Where to look? - Contacting recruiters is a good idea, but also asking friends as well as knocking on doors of the places (like Wall Street Institute) where you'd like to work. Sadly good Part-Time work is at a premium and it takes some luck. |

^ yeah, and this thread is probably going to be yanked. There is a lot of luck involved and you need to make connections. But, I don't know what you're talking about. I've seen a lot of PT evening positions being offered on worknplay in the past. |

or spend that time networking and get a better job. people really don't grasp the importance of networking in a big city. |
