Hey All! So I am a 30 year old Caucasian with a bachelors in English and 1 year of experience teaching in Korea back in 2008-2009. My girlfriend is 23 years old, with a bachelors in social work and 4-5 years experience teaching daycare, she is also half black. We are considering coming to Korea at the end of summer, hopefully end of August. Now I know how hard it can be for darker skinned people to get hired in Korea but I also know it does happen. Just wondering if anyone has a recruiter they can suggest or any tips on couple positions since when I came last time I came with a buddy but we weren't worried about working at the same place. We would like to be in Seoul as does everyone, but we aren't too picky.

Thanks for any info!

Apply together and include photos of her working/playing with kids (playground, mock classroom, etc).

Best chance of a couple position would probably be in a kindy but I wouldn't rule out a 3-9 hagwon.

Unless you are married public schools will be problematic for a "couple".
