anybody have interesting hobbies they pursue in their downtime?

of my roommates, we've got

1) a singer in a singer/guitarist duo.
2) a bowling fanatic
3) an amateur standup comedian
4) a writer (whose never actually finished a manuscript)

in our circle of friends, we've got

-ultimate frisbee players
-drama/theater geeks
-starcraft/warcraft/whatevercraft addicts
-fun alcoholics
-serious alcoholics
-other amateur musicians
-cyclists
-photographers

so what do you guys/gals do for fun?

I play competitive magic the gathering on the weekends.

Drink a lot,
watch 2-3 movies a week
watch 4-5 hours of television on the internet.
Attempt to order pizzas to my apt in English. Last week I ordered a pizza at 4 AM, it showed up at 5 AM, I was sleepy for work the next day.

Downtime rocks.

i practice guitar at night and study roman history. on a morning, i run, hike or exercise and train for climbing. i try to get an hour of language study in a day if i can be arsed. when its not too cold i try to get out rock climbing. when ive got some free time, i like to spend it with my girlfriend and we go to art galleries/exhibitions and stuff or go skiiing. in the summer we go motorcycle touring around korea.
basically, ive got no friends where i live and a lot of freetime - and i love it! climbings for my buddies Smile
