Quick question... When I send my documents, let's say both have been notarized and appostilled, should I send my original to the recruiter, or the copy?
If you feel like reading more... one recruiter wants me to send my docs now so that he can process my visa faster once I have accepted a position. I'm concerned that he wont be able to find a good job for me so is it possible for me to keep my originals and send the copies so that I can still send my stuff out to someone else if it falls through? |

I thought the copy of the apostille shows up as '
unauthorized copy' when you try to copy them. I was told original copy is needed. Recruiter is taking to the director who will then apply for Visa. But I'm new to this myself, so maybe someone else will weigh in. |

Right... it does show up that way. Thats why I'm wondering if I can use it. My friend said he has only ever sent a copy of his CBC but he's Canadian so I'm not sure the same rules apply to Americans. |

Attach scans of your documents to your applications (to show that you have them).
<cover letter, resume, scan of passport, scan of CBC with apostille, scan of degree with apostille>
Do NOT send the hard copies to some recruiter with the promise that they will find you a job (or you will end up with nothing and have to start over again).
Send the in hard copies of your CBC with apostille and degree COPY with apostille affixed when you have a confirmed position and contract in hand.
