Besides the obvious first stop on craigslist, I haven't been able to find any sites where rooms are posted for rent. I'm looking to rent a room at the end of March for about 6 months, give or take. I don't have the key money to get my own place and it seems like most of the rooms offered are for females only. Part of the problem is that I'm going to New Zealand for a month for a job and my lease with my current roommate ends during that time, so looking for a place is more complicated. Also, I own a dog, which makes things a bit more challenging. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look or do I just have to hope something pops up on craigslist? Or if someone reading this has a room for rent and doesn't mind a well-mannered dog, that would be helpful too.
