A new and growing trend is sweeping university campuses in the US and other nations.
This would make a great topic of conversation for higher level and free talking classes in high schools, universities, and with adult students:

New vocabulary: divestment, astro-turfing, fossil fuel, carbon footprint, ... |

Sorry, this is Korea. Only interested in Korea No.1!
On the serious side: astro-turfing is a no-no subject in Korea. Don't even thinking about it. |

Uh huh. Why is that?
This is very new information for me. No-one has ever told me that before.
Can you tell us a little more about why you think it is that astro-turfing is such a taboo subject? |

By astro-turfing, I mean political agitation for profit.
Korea has a policy of keeping out practices that are 'bad for the country', by keeping the general population innocent.
e.g. narcotics are not welcome (marijuana has been legalized in some parts of the world)
Radical politics (astro-turfing) etc. are not welcome because they will de-stablize the society.
Note: internet is censored in Korea and Korea is technically still at war. |
