OP - apply. You will easily get a job. GEPIK and EPIK will give you a job. On the slim possibility that they don't then choose a quality hagwon.

Walk away from any recruiter that gives negative vibes. Maybe they are doing that since graduation for you is far away. Maybe they are telling that to put you in a bad hagwon job.

There are literally tens of thousands of good jobs waiting in Korea.

I just don't agree that there aren't any jobs anymore. But, maybe wait for some other more informed people to comment. I don't know exactly what's going on in public schools. Right now, I do however see job ads by Footprints and Korvia as well as others who are advertising that they have public schools.
It's true the job market has gotten a bit tougher, as in schools are now asking for 'education' or 'english; majors. Not that they don't take other people, by the way.
Talk to the two recruiters above (by the way, recruiters always give me a creepy feeling. They will stretch the truth (Really!) as it;s a bit cut throat. a signed contract, I think, is a big lump payment for them. They know candidates are applying everywhere, hence the scramble and little white lies... Always double check the location, ie how close it is to the subway, for example.
The best guarantee for this is to simply ask for a foreigner teachers email to inquire about the area, etc. Many institutes, know and even expect this. Recruiters will try and not give it to you. Just ask again. Be polite, but ask again.
