| So I have applied for GEPIK 2013 and would like to know if anyone knows when they are going to start hiring prospective ESL Teachers. EPIK has started with their orientation this week an I am yet to hear from GEPIK. Does anyone know anything? |

When did you apply? you werent actually hired yet? Because most GEPIK teachers starting in March will probably have already signed a contract.

GEPIK completed their recruitment last December with all documents in and NOAs being sent out in late January.
Gyeonggi schools (GPOE) who are privately hiring a NET are pretty much done as well since classes will start in 2 weeks. There may be a few left but I wouldn't be holding my breath looking for one and with the short time frame they will probably focus on NETs who are already here on a D10 or transferable E2 (contract ending in the next 2 weeks).

| You might be able to find a job replacing someone who rejected an overseas job at the last minute. It happens, but to find those kinds of openings you'll need a great recruiter and to have all of your paperwork finished. Like tompatz said, those typically fall to people already in Korea, but you never know. |

| I'm pretty sure he means that he applied to the September 2013 GEPIK intake. |
