found the problem I'm having with my laptop can be fixed by updating the BIOS on my computer, Dell has a newer version on its website to be downloaded so I know its legit
What I'm wondering is will doing this mess with anything I've done with windows or my data etc.? I have backed up most of my stuff to a portable hard drive
