A national boycott? So, Korean consumers will stop buying Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras? I don't think so! |

I enjoy boycotting things. It gives me a way to vent my anger. I boycott Rome because I think Romans suck. I went once and they sucked so I decided to boycott them.
I also boycott soju because it sucks. I tried it once and it sucked so I decided to boycott it.
I was going to make a list of everything that I boycott once, but I realised I boycotted list making a couple of years ago. |

So.... essentially they'd like all of their customers who buy Japanese beer and smokes to instead go shop at large chain marts? Weren't these the same Klown bozos complaining about not having enough customers?
It's ok, I'm sure the government will further subsidize (indirectly) these small shops, now that they are planning to VOLUNTARILY sell fewer items. Brilliant all around really. |

i dont get this cuntry at the best of times. I cant count the amount of times i haven't been served in a shop ( and its not a foreigner thing either because I've been with koreans) because the person working there just cant be arsed to stand up or something. And ripping you off or being rude! They dont seem to understand that you wouldn't want to come back again after having received a crappy service or payed a rip off price. Long term!?!
A lot of small businesses just don't seem to care if they lose money or not. They have zero business sense. I got ripped off by some guy last week that sold me a crappy motorbike part for 10,000 that was worth about 500 won. I could see he thought he'd just got one over on me and was so pleased with himself. Idiot hole.
'cutting your nose off to spite your face' is what me mum would say... |

One word, and one word only needs to be said about this boycott.
Weak. |

I went into Daiso today and asked the store manager about this. She said not to worry, theyre going to change the name next month and everything will be ok. They said the name will be either 'Doktso' or 'Pisso'. |

On a somewhat-related note, where can I find sake? There's a shrimp stir fry that I haven't had in ages that calls for the stuff, and I haven't had any luck finding it. |

nampo dong has it in a few of the foreigner goods stores. there are tons of japanese come over on weekends to go shopping, so its not too hard to find if you shop around in the maze of shops! |
