Hi, I am looking to accept a contract at a school in Gongju City where I would be the only foreign teacher, I wanted to talk to some foreigners living in Gongju to find out more about the city, what transportation is like, etc.

Once you figure out how to get to the #1 Seoul Subway line from your new place you'll be able to reach Cheonan Station which opens up Korea to you via the KTX lines and the #1 subway line to points north like: Pyeongtaek, Songtan, Suwon, Anyang, and, of course, Seoul.
